Danny and Laura – Katz’s Deli, New York Elopement Photographer

Elopement

In the last year we have learned to know it better: an unconventional wedding, that recently has been chosen by many couples. A real romantic escape with your partner to make your love dream come true. No guests, no Never ending lunches, no wedding favors, wedding list or table arrangement.

Just the two of us.

Should that be enough, do you agree?

Yes, We do!

And for this reason we have helped Laura and Denny for their romantic escape. Where? In NYC. The most eclectic, hyperactive, colorful and dark city at the same time, smiling but melancholic, high, indeed very high, and full of isolated and very romantic views. Starting from a stylistic choice made first of all by the future bride and groom, the city and our creative vein, Paolo has selected for us the best locations where to shoot.

The streets of Bowery and his Overthrow Boxing Club, the iconic Katz’s a inherent part of the city’s culture and history which offers the perfect NYC food experience (in which thanks to the white dress of the bride we skipped an hour more to enter), one of the most beautiful and breathtaking view of Manhattan by the Brooklyn Bridge Park, the legendary view of the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO as seen in Once Upon a Time in America, the old fashioned Fanelli’s Cafè, the old and vintage looking skybridge in Staple Street and the most romantic place in the city Central Park.
We did all on a cold December day and the shots speak for themselves: the true main character is Love.

Even in a wedding with only two people, organization is everything.
Especially in a distant city, having a precise itinerary, timing and coordinated suppliers is essential.
With Paolo, who was our right hand in the organization, as a good lover and expert of NYC as well as photographer whom we personally value very much, we studied the whole day together, to give the newlyweds photos that will remind them of the special day and that they can cherish forever. At the same time, we did our best to stress them as less as possible by coordinating everything from the beginning to the end.

A NYC elopement is love, fun, surprise, light, dark and colors.
And we can only recommend it to all couples who dream of a unique experience to live together.
